My parents have always wanted the best for me. They have always pushed me to do my best especially when it came to my education. Like most students, I followed the general education path until I had the opportunity to explore more of my interests, which started in high school; that’s when I joined Yearbook class. I took this course throughout high school and learned so much about myself. I was more outgoing and creative than I ever thought I could be. With this, I went to Meredith College majoring in Interior Design with a minor in Business Administration.

My first year at Meredith was not like any other regular college experience. It was 2020, when COVID-19 was at it’s peak, meaning all of my classes were online. I was able to build close relationships with new people as we bonded over this strange time in our lives. After my first year with general education and introductory courses for Interior Design, I knew I had to switch my major. All Summer, I was stuck trying to figure out what I wanted to do. After revisiting the Meredith Catalog a few hundred times, I landed on Hospitality and Tourism Management.

My second year at Meredith was a lot more enjoyable now that I was taking courses that intrigued me. A few months in, an opportunity to work with Timeless Love Weddings came upon me. This was my first step in the wedding world and it was not like anything I expected. From here, I was added to her team as the day-of-coordinator and worked with her throughout college.

The idea for I Do Weddings came to life during my final semester of college. I focused on my education and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management with minors in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship & Family Businesses. Soon after, I registered my business, and here I am now!
